Linger by: Maggie Stiefvater

Pages: NA
Summary: (note this was all I could find that talked about Linger)

Linger continues the story of the wolves of Mercy Falls. . . It's about after. What happens after you discover there are werewolves in the wood, after you've fallen in love for the first time, after you've lost what you think you can't live without, after you've become someone you can't live with...

Right now I'm reading Shiver and it is so incredible and breathtaking.

Teaser Tuesday- Shiver

~"Hello, Grace's parents. I'm Grace's boyfriend. Please notice the chaste distance between us. I am very responsible and have never had my tongue in your daughter's mouth."~

HAHAHAHA
when I read this I could not stop laughing!

Teaser Tuesday- Daughter of the Flames

Title: Daughter of the Flames
Author: Zoe Marriott
Page:298-299
~"We're even now, you know," Sorin said quietly.
I started from my half doze. "What?"
"You saved me. Now I've saved you."
"We were already even," I said sleepily. I knew there were lots of important things to ask and tell, but at the moment my head felt as if it were full of rocks. Thinking would make them all tumble and grind together-and I wasn't too anxious for that to happen just yet. "You kept your promise when we came to you at Mesgao."
"That didn't make us even. You saved my life. Do you know that in Sedra, if someone saves your life, then you belong to them? I've belonged to you since you saved me from burning to death. Now that I've saved you from the same fate, we're even."
I went cold. "Does that mean you don't belong to me anymore?" I asked.
"No," he said, wrapping the blanket more securely around me. "It means we belong to each other."
I relaxed. "Oh. Good." I put my head on his shoulder again.~

Review- The Swan Kingdom

The Swan Kingdom By Zoe Marriott

Release Date: March 25,2008
Publisher: Candlewick
Age Group: YA
Pages:272

Summary:
Alexandra is the youngest daughter of the King and his Queen, who also happens to be a Wise Lady or Healer. Her mother teaches Alexandra her arts although Alexa knows she will never be as wise and as powerful as her mother, just as she knows she will never be as handsome as her older brothers. When she finally becomes a woman, her mother is killed by a terrifying beast and Alexa is exiled. Finding herself alone and virtually friendless, Alexandra must discover the power within herself to heal her land and fight the evil which has threatened all she holds dear.

My Review:

The book is based off a fairy tale called "The Wild Swans" which Zoë Marriott loved so much she had to written a story about it in her own words and add a few twists.

I fell in deep love with this book and the main character Alexandra. This was the first book sense the Twilight Saga that I could not put down I carried this book every where I went to work, the store, in the car literally everywhere.
When I first started reading this book I though I was in for a normal fairy tale where the princess was going to get in trouble and a Price was going to have to save her, but this was not the case at all. Alexandra is one of the most brave and strongest heroine I've read about. But whats funny she doesn't realize how strong and powerful she really is. I could never be like her to still be strong death after death, and to lose your home and everything you know and love twice, that would break me. Overall, this book was incredible and Zoë Marriott really knows how to write a book and hold a readers addition through the whole book and way after the last page is turned, this book will stick with me for a long time.

In My Mailbox (14)

Just two books this week, but I've heard wonderful things about this series and by looking at the covers I don't think I will be disappointed!
